Denbaya Elementary and Middle School Programs

Denbaya Elementary and Middle School Programs are the perfect way to celebrate cultural diversity and meet state music standards, while having a blast. Denbaya Aritistic director, Ryan M. Camara is the author of , "West African Drum and Dance: A Yankadi-Macrou Celebration" the critically acclaimed new curriculum for elementary and middle school students that is changing the way the educational community thinks about percussion. Encorporating drumming, dancing, singing and guided play - Denbaya school programs are the perfect compliment to any curriculum.

Denbaya is available for school assemblies, one and two week residecies, and special workshops. Ryan Camara and Denbaya are members of the Southern Oregon Arts Council and some schools may be eligible for grants to bring in the Denbaya drum and dance programs.

Additionally, Ryan performs teacher trainings around the country and has presented at several Music Educator Conferences.

Ryan and Denbaya have provided programs for the House of Blues Foundation in Los Angeles, Montana Arts Commission, Mukombe Marimba Club, Ashland Schools Foundation, Ashland Middle School, Walker Elementary School, Willow Wind Elementary, Robert Frost Middle School, Markham Middle School and hundreds of others!
