Can I drop in on a drum class?
No.  Drum classes are not designed for the drop in student.  Each series of classes has a specially designed curriculum that builds sequentially. However, we do offer the option, with a paid membership in Denbaya, for students to give a "buddy pass" to a friend who might like to "check out" the first class in a drum (or dance) series.  If the friend enjoys the class and would like to continue, the new student pays a discounted price for the full series that takes into account the "buddy pass" gift.

What if I can only make 4 of the 5 (for example) scheduled classes. Can I get a discount for missing that class?
No.  We make every effort to make our classes a good value for the tuition. Our class pricing is based on the best price possible, taking into account what is required to meet the costs of staging the class.  As with any other formal course, the fees are paid up front and attending or missing a class is the student's responsibility.

Are there discounts for taking multiple classes?
Yes. Denbaya members are eligible to recieve discounts on multiple classes.

Do you offer discounts for students?
Yes.  We offer discounts to high school and college students with verification of student identification.

Do I need to have my own drum?
Not necessarily.  While it is ideal for you to own your own drum(s) (for practicing what you learn at home!), often beginning students haven't decided whether they will stick with learning this music.  For this reason, we offer a few in-class loaner drums on a first-come/first-served basis.  If you are in need of a drum calling us ahead of time might help us to make arrangements for you and insure that we have adequate extra drums on hand.

Can I pay on-line?
Yes.  Our website is set up to accept credit card payments through PayPal.  Currently, when paying for classes on-line, PayPal will only accept full payment for all classes.  If you are a member of Denbaya and receiving a discount, that amount will be reimbursed to you after payment is received.  If you are paying with cash or check, your discount is awarded immediately.
