Can I drop in on a dance class?
Yes.  Under most circumstances it is possible to drop in on a dance class, though the price for doing so is usually $2-5 higher per session that it would be for paying for a series in advance.  Also, any study materials that might accompany the course are available to drop-ins at an additional cost.

I've heard West African dance is pretty, um, "active." How much dance experience do I need to take a class?
You do not need any dance experience to start a beginning class.  As with any physical activity, it is wise to take it at your own pace.  West African dance is a good workout, and it provides plenty of exercise.  Our classes offer a warm-up and stretching period.  All of the dance movements can be modified to fit your fitness level and physical abilities.  An "all levels" class really strives to be enjoyable for "all levels."
