Denbaya Drum and Dance is a multi-faceted non-profit organization that offers several varieties of community programs.  We are dedicated to sharing the joys of West African music through our community drum and dance lessons, our school and university programs, our special guest-artist lessons and workshops, and our unique village-style fêtes.

Denbaya means "family we care for/our extended family" in several West African Mande dialects. This name was carefully chosen to illustrate how all of our community programs strive to build a sense of community and shared experience.
